More information from the maker, Sam David:

GREEN DIDGERIDOOS: These instruments are home-crafted, quality-made, sustainably harvested, and made with Earth Eco products. I make them with lots of love and care. I want everyone to have an opportunity to have a sacred instrument that’s clean, beautiful, easy to play, and for a great price. These didgeridoos can be made in the keys of B, C, C#, D, E and F.

HARVESTING: All the didgeridoos are made from local sustainability harvested hand-picked agave and yucca. I also sustainably harvest green clay from the earth on the coast of California that I coat the inside of all the didges.

HOLLOWING: I drill with extension bits and burn the inside out instead of cutting in half, making a weak point in the didge.

GREEN CLAY: I take all the green clay and soak it in water overnight, then I sift it through a filter and mix it with wood glue. Then I coat the inside with four coats that dry into hard clay, making the didge stronger and having a fantastic sound. Plus, it’s so earthy.

COATING: I coat the inside and out with Shellac, a natural product from beetles. Most didges are coated with toxic epoxy, which leaves a smell that never goes away. Don’t get me wrong, I like them but don’t want to work with or support toxic things anymore.
Then, I make mouthpieces with hardwoods I find or buy. Then tune them by cutting the didge shorter. Then I coat three times more with Shellac, buff, sand the outside, and finish with mineral oil. I put a lot of love and care into making them.

DIMENSIONS: Dimensions vary depending on key selected because a longer length creates a lower key:

Length: 50″ to 63 3/8″
Mouthpiece inner diameter: 1″ to 1 5/16″
Bell Diameter: 2 1/2″ to 3 5/8″
