Description
The harmonium is a hand pumped reed-organ which developed out of the merging of European and Indian traditions during the colonization of India. Adapting droning Indian music sounds to a western keyboard layout, the harmonium is an acoustic instrument which has many versatile uses. Most commonly heard in Indian Classical Music, Kirtan and sacred chant music, the harmonium works well for sound baths, meditations, and anywhere that drones and melodies resonate.
Didge Project currently stocks 3 harmonium models, each with a set of unique features.
