Description from Didge Project’s AJ Block: “The Meinl Sliced Pro Didgeridoo is the newest addition to our lineup of didgeridoos here at Didge Project, and I am super excited about this didgeridoo. It has all of the qualities of a hardwood didgeridoo in a very affordable package. This didge is heavy; it’s almost as serious as a eucalyptus didgeridoo of comparable size. The Meinl Sliced Pro Didgeridoo comes in at an impressive $200 (as of March 2022) and that price may have gone up if you are reading this later. That price cannot be beaten for a hardwood didgeridoo of this quality. Another thing is that these didgeridoos come with a carrying case when you break them down, so it is only about the length of one of the pieces. You can break it down by unscrewing it in the middle.”

This didge is much heavier than I expected and I highly recommend a quality didge stand to go with it. It has a great sound and good back pressure. The mouth piece is smaller than I am use to and it is a little rough but not enough to impact playing. I get nervous with the connection point in the middle because of it’s weight and you do have to be careful to make sure it’s properly aligned when twisting it together.

I love this didge, it has great sound a great back pressure. It is pretty heavy and I recommend a quality didge stand to go with it. The connection point doesn’t ever twist flush on mine and it doesn’t feel solid but I bought a rubber gasket and it solved that issue. Without the gasket it still works fine but it triggers my OCD.
