In this video, Didge Project lead instructor AJ Block demonstrates a way to optimize your circular breathing by blending the airflow from the lungs with the airflow from the mouth cavity. He explains how 1) pushing the abs to send air out from the lungs and 2) squeezing the cheeks to send air out from the mouth cavity, are combined to “close the gap” on circular breathing, making it so the air does not diminish and the sound quality is not lost, even when a wind instrument player is inhaling through the nose while playing.
