Hand Drum Basics is a FREE online course that will give you the skills necessary to sound great on hand drums, djembe, congas, etc. and to understand what it take to master the basics of rhythm. Much of what we cover in this class are tools to get you to sound good and seamless in your playing. Through a combination of video and worksheets you will be guided through a number of approaches to enhance your drumming.
This course, led by Didge Project’s Matt Bazgier, will benefit all levels of drummers, starting off new players with good habits and helping experienced players get a better sound and learn ways to practice. Matt Bazgier and the Didge Project team have combined the knowledge gained from working with many students and put together this program to help beginning and intermediate players progress faster.
